About Nancy
"There is a Celtic saying that heaven and earth are only three feet a part-but in the ‘thin places’ the distance becomes even smaller. A thin place is where the veil that separates the sacred from the pedestrian is so thin that one is able to catch a glimpse of the mystery beyond. A thin place is anywhere our hearts are more open to the ‘more’-when we feel the distance we often put between us and the divine evaporating."

But let me back up a bit so this story can begin to make sense. I am turning 52 in November. This feels like a new frontier, a paradigm shift is taking place and I am changing how I step into my life. I have traversed through some very difficult & challenging times as well as incredibly fortunate, exciting & wonderful times on the way to now. It is a story everyone has one. I understand how they have all shaped and enriched my view. I have worked diligently and mindfully to "rewire" my legacy. I have emerged more awake, conscious, authentic, fearless (well I try), determined, purpose driven & compassionate. I have built a great life; an external reality that aligns with my internal compass. It is clear that it is now time for me amp up the “watts”. I love to create. I am a visionary, an entrepreneur, a rebel with a cause, a leader, a teacher and a coach. I want to have a positive impact that has a ripple effect.

I have also been a mom for almost 23 years of my nearly 52 years. I have raised and I am raising two beautiful boys, 23 and 17. They have become my spiritual masters, my Buddha’s. My boys and all their friends who have crossed the threshold of our home, entered our lives and inhabited space in our hearts have enriched our lives in ways we never imagined. I have learned much from being connected and interconnected. I have had a front row seat as they have grown from sweet little babies into sweet young men. I have loved them, fed them, schlepped them, provided council, a container, and a safe harbor. I have taught them, they have taught me, we have challenged each other, challenged ourselves, and we found ways to compromise and developed a greater capacity for empathy along the way. Together we have questioned some of the madness in the world and been grateful for all the goodness in the world. We have cried and we have laughed, a lot. I love their stories, their antics, their “boyness” They have been and continue to be my “thin space”.

AND, here I am now, always a mom, a woman, and a partner in a successful and valuable marriage. Fully understanding and embracing that all we really have is the moment we are in. I am acknowledging the call to bring my talents and voice to be of help where I can, with humility, hope, love and humor.

I am passionate about helping people discover what makes them come alive, make choices that embody that aliveness and create pathways and actions towards that. My overarching quest is to build a community of people who are growing their “consciousness footprint”. We live in a time where the world is in great need of mending. There is work to be done. We have been broken open and the opportunities are exciting and require a new way of being, a new approach. We are all needed and incredibly capable of being instrumental in setting the agenda and tone now and for the future.

I want to be a part of that! Let’s go!

I am Nan Watts. Welcome to Inspiredviews.
